English 1 International Educational Services 4 week TESOL Course at Boca de Tomatlan (half hour south of Puerto Vallarta) is a much more relaxed TESOL course than our normal 2 week Intensive course that we normally do. Come join us in this tropical paradise located on the edge of the jungle next to the ocean. It is ideal for students wishing to travel and be fully immersed in a different culture.
If there are 2 of you doing the course you can choose to share accommodations. Check directly with Cynthia for more information and prices on accommodations. There are lots of fun things to do too on the weekend when you aren’t in class.
Class times – Approximately 8 AM to 3 PM (no weekends) – Hours may be adjusted so TESOL students can work with classes at the elementary and secondary schools and tutor adults in the community. You will get approximately 20 hours of hands-on observation and teaching with children and adults during your course. A minimum of 4 students must be registered in order for the course to take place. Maximum # is 10.
We also have our regular 2 week Intensive TESOL Course at Boca de Tomatlan if the 4 week course doesn’t work for you.

Cynthia spent many years in Alberta, Canada before relocating 5 years ago to the small community of Boca de Tomatlan, a half hour south of Puerto Vallarta with her husband and son. She was instrumental in starting an ESL (English as a Second Language) program in the local public school when she realized the need. Boca relies on the tourism industry for their livelihood and requires people to speak English, so she also works with adults. She is now instructing people to prepare to teach English locally or internationally.
